Registration is now open for the sixth edition of the Puerto Rico Financial Services Forum, scheduled for November 2–3, 2026, at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan. The event, organized by the Puerto Rico International Insurers Association (PRIIA) and the Puerto Rico International Banks Association (PRIBA), has grown into one of the Caribbean's premier gatherings for the international banking and insurance sectors.
The Forum will bring together senior executives, regulators, institutional investors, insurers, international banks, compliance leaders, legal experts, and government officials from Puerto Rico, the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Over the years, it has become a key platform for industry dialogue, collaboration, and business development in the region.
The 2026 program will feature high-level discussions on evolving challenges and opportunities in financial services. Key topics include artificial intelligence in insurance and financial crime compliance, fintech and Banking-as-a-Service, correspondent banking, captive insurance, anti-money laundering (AML) and sanctions, digital assets, regulatory and law enforcement priorities, and investment strategies.
Featured speakers include Mónica Rodríguez, Commissioner of Financial Institutions; Suzette del Valle, Commissioner of Insurance of Puerto Rico; and leaders from AIG, Morgan White Group, Accelerant, Popular, Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, Arbol Inc., Advantage Insurance Management, Kredit Plus, IICG, McConnell Valdés, Certus Income, and SAGE. The program also includes experts from Holland and Knight, DLA Piper, the U.S. Department of Treasury, Blue Ridge Bank, Kaufman Rossin, Payblr, Amerant Bank, One Forty, Anchorage Bank, and a former TD Bank compliance officer, among others.
Additional sessions will address digital assets, financial crime, and enforcement, with speakers from Chainalysis, CSMB, Anchorage Digital Bank, DML Associates, and DLA Piper. The Forum will also feature a keynote address by Ignacio Gomez, an award-winning investigative journalist known for exposing corruption and financial crime across borders.
“More than a conference, the Puerto Rico Financial Services Forum has established itself as a high-level networking destination where decision-makers and influential leaders connect, exchange ideas, and explore new opportunities for collaboration and growth,” said Hugo Cordova, President of PRIIA.
Eduardo Colón, President of PRIBA, added, “The Puerto Rico Financial Services Forum continues to strengthen Puerto Rico’s position as a hub for international banks and insurers, while creating a platform for dialogue around innovation, regulation, and the future of the financial industry.”
This year’s edition will offer sponsors and participating organizations direct access to a specialized and influential audience, providing opportunities for brand visibility and strategic engagement. Organizers encourage financial institutions, insurance companies, law firms, accounting firms, technology providers, and related organizations to secure participation early, as additional speakers and sessions will be announced in the coming weeks.
