The Crypto Company (OTCID: CRCW) has announced that its Frame testnet is now live in private beta. Frame is a quantum-resistant Layer 1 blockchain designed to allow individuals, businesses, and AI agents to build, bridge, and trade across chains without friction. According to the company, the testnet has already processed more than 7 million quantum-resistant test transactions.
Today's blockchain landscape is fragmented, with each network operating as its own economy. Moving value between chains often requires trusting third-party bridges, and builders must choose which chain to develop on, leading to split liquidity for traders. Frame aims to connect these separate ecosystems into a single interoperable network, making cross-chain business feel as seamless as operating on one chain.
"Frame's testnet going live is a real milestone, and I am excited about how far the team has come and what Frame is going to be," said Ron Levy, Chief Executive Officer of TCC. "It is amazing to watch transactions flowing on-chain and see people lighting up when they experience for themselves what this platform really unlocks."
Security is a core focus of Frame, which is built to remain safe as quantum computers advance. It is quantum-resistant from genesis, with transactions signed using ML-DSA-87, the highest-security level of NIST's post-quantum digital signature standard (FIPS 204), based on CRYSTALS-Dilithium. This means Frame wallets are designed to avoid migration, unlike chains built before these standards that may need to move users to new wallets if quantum threats materialize.
Frame also emphasizes speed, with settlement designed to occur in under two seconds. One signature is intended to move value from one chain to another, settled by Frame's own validators, without a third-party bridge holding assets. Transactions are designed to avoid public queues, reducing the risk of front-running.
"We set out to build a Layer 1 that is quantum-resistant from genesis, and now we have one, designed for settlement in under two seconds," said Sean Docherty, Chief Blockchain Officer of TCC. "That combination lets people and agents move across chains without waiting, and without worrying about tomorrow's threats."
The private testnet phase includes post-quantum transactions, Frame Wallet, Frame Names, and a decentralized exchange (DEX). Later phases on Frame's roadmap include a mainnet launch, cross-chain unified liquidity, and the ability for individuals and businesses to build their own applications on top of Frame, reaching users and transaction volume from every connected chain.
Builders, traders, and others interested in Frame can join the waitlist at https://frame.community to be notified when a testnet invitation is ready. Invitations will be sent to waitlist members as they become available. The community is also active on Telegram and Discord, linked from the site.
As a publicly traded company with operating history dating back to 2017, The Crypto Company is focused on developing and operating blockchain infrastructure. The company is completing the buildout of Frame Blockchain, which aims to connect fragmented blockchain ecosystems into a single interoperable network. More information is available at www.thecryptocompany.com.
The launch of Frame's testnet could have significant implications for the blockchain industry. By addressing quantum resistance and interoperability, Frame may attract builders and users seeking future-proof and seamless cross-chain solutions. If successful, it could reduce reliance on vulnerable bridges and foster a more unified blockchain ecosystem. However, as with any testnet, actual mainnet performance and adoption remain uncertain, and forward-looking statements involve risks and uncertainties.
