Tonix Pharmaceuticals Promotes Thomas Englese to Chief Commercial Officer Amid TONMYA Launch

Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: TNXP), a fully integrated, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company, announced the promotion of Thomas Englese to chief commercial officer, effective immediately. Englese, who previously served as executive vice president of commercial operations since September 2024, will continue to oversee sales, marketing, market access, and commercial operations for TONMYA, the company's treatment for fibromyalgia in adults, as well as Zembrace SymTouch and Tosymra for acute migraine in adults.

President and CEO Seth Lederman said Englese has been instrumental in building Tonix's commercial organization and launching TONMYA. Englese expressed that the company is focused on expanding access, growing its patient and prescriber base, and increasing sales as it broadens the TONMYA launch.

TONMYA (cyclobenzaprine HCl sublingual tablets 2.8mg) is the first new treatment for fibromyalgia in more than 15 years. The company's CNS commercial infrastructure supports its marketed products, including its acute migraine products. Tonix is also exploring the potential of TONMYA in Phase 2 clinical trials for major depressive disorder and acute stress disorder.

The promotion comes at a critical time as Tonix works to establish TONMYA in the market. With Englese at the helm of commercial operations, the company aims to leverage his experience to drive adoption and revenue growth. This move underscores Tonix's commitment to maximizing the commercial potential of its flagship product while advancing its pipeline.

Tonix's pipeline includes TNX-2900, which is Phase 2 ready for the treatment of Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare disease. The company is also developing immunology programs, including monoclonal antibody TNX-4800 for Lyme disease prophylaxis and TNX-1500, a third-generation CD40 ligand inhibitor for the prevention of kidney transplant rejection.

For investors, the promotion signals Tonix's strategic focus on commercial execution. The success of TONMYA's launch will be pivotal for the company's near-term financial performance. Englese's leadership in commercial operations could directly impact the drug's market penetration and revenue generation, which are key metrics for stakeholders.

Tonix Pharmaceuticals is a fully integrated, commercial-stage biotechnology company focused on central nervous system (CNS) and immunology treatments in areas of high unmet medical need. The company's product development candidates are investigational new drugs or biologics; their efficacy and safety have not been established and have not been approved for any indication.
