tZERO Group, Inc., a blockchain-based financial infrastructure provider, has announced that its broker-dealer subsidiaries have entered into a correspondent clearing relationship with Archax Markets LLC, the recently approved US digital broker-dealer arm of Archax Group Ltd. This partnership will supply the regulated infrastructure supporting Archax Markets' planned US offering of traditional and digital securities, including tokenized real-world assets.
Archax Markets has received approval of its New Member Application from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), completing its registration as a US broker-dealer with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The firm anticipates commencing US operations during the third quarter of 2026.
Through arrangements with tZERO Securities, LLC and tZERO Digital Asset Securities, LLC, Archax Markets will function as an introducing broker, accessing regulated US capabilities that encompass correspondent clearing, custody of digital asset securities, escrow services, and secondary trading via the tZERO Securities alternative trading system (ATS). This relationship pairs Archax's global digital asset platform and distribution strengths with tZERO's established US market infrastructure.
“Archax's US approval is an important step in expanding institutional access to tokenized assets, and tZERO provides the regulated infrastructure needed to help translate that opportunity into an operational offering,” said Alan Konevsky, Chief Executive Officer of tZERO. “This relationship demonstrates our Infrastructure-as-a-Service model in action: enabling financial institutions to enter digital asset securities markets through established custody, clearing and trading capabilities rather than having to build the full stack themselves.”
In addition to acting as an introducing broker, Archax Markets' registration permits it to offer private placements of traditional and digital securities to US institutional and accredited investors. It also includes the ability to chaperone certain private placement offerings by non-US broker-dealers to qualifying US institutional investors in accordance with SEC Rule 15a-6.
This agreement adds Archax Markets to a growing list of financial institutions leveraging tZERO's regulated infrastructure to bring tokenized securities to US investors. tZERO's integrated capabilities support the entire lifecycle of digital asset securities, connecting regulated custody and clearing with access to secondary liquidity through the tZERO Securities ATS.
The significance of this development lies in the continued convergence of traditional finance and blockchain technology. By utilizing tZERO's existing regulated systems, Archax can avoid the costly and time-consuming process of building its own custody, clearing, and trading infrastructure in the US. Instead, it can focus on its core competencies of distribution and platform services, while tZERO provides the back-end regulatory compliance and market connectivity.
For investors, this relationship aims to enhance access to tokenized securities within a regulated framework, potentially increasing liquidity and transparency in private asset markets. It also signals growing institutional confidence in digital asset securities as a viable asset class, supported by established regulatory structures.
tZERO's Infrastructure-as-a-Service model is proving to be a catalyst for market entry, as evidenced by this partnership. As more firms seek to offer digital securities, the demand for reliable, compliant infrastructure is likely to rise, positioning tZERO as a key enabler in the evolving landscape of capital markets.
