Verizon announced today that preorders for Samsung's next-generation foldable lineup, including the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, are now available through its Simplicity Plan and My Biz Plan. The move aligns with Verizon's strategy to simplify mobile plans while pairing them with innovative devices. The Galaxy Z Fold8 starts at $1,899.99 and the Z Fold8 Ultra at $2,099.99, with availability in multiple colors.
The Galaxy Z Fold8 is designed for high-performance productivity and multitasking on a spacious, immersive screen, while the Z Fold8 Ultra targets users seeking premium features. Verizon also launched preorders for the Galaxy Watch9 ($429.99) and Galaxy Watch Ultra2 ($699.99). Full retail availability is set for August 7.
Verizon's Simplicity Plan offers a flat $30 per month for one line with Auto Pay and paper-free billing, plus a $15 monthly discount for switching from another carrier. New customers can get the Galaxy Z Fold8 (256GB) for $60 per month over 48 months—$30 for the phone after a $460 promotional credit and $30 for the plan—with no trade-in required. For the Z Fold8 Ultra, a similar offer provides a $420 credit, reducing the monthly device payment to $35.
Existing customers can upgrade to Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plans and trade in an eligible phone to receive up to $1,100 off either new foldable, applied as monthly credits over 36 months. The trade-in phone must be active on the account for at least 60 days before purchase.
Verizon's "Ultimate Bundle" allows customers who buy a new Samsung phone on a payment plan or bring their own Samsung phone with a new line to get a Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Tab S10 FE at no cost. The watch and tablet are purchased on 36-month payment plans with service lines starting at $15 per month, and Verizon covers hardware costs through monthly credits up to $650 per device.
For bring-your-own-device customers, Verizon offers a Galaxy Watch9 on us (40mm only) or the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 for as low as $8 per month, after a $430 promotional credit over 36 months. Additionally, customers can save up to 30% on Galaxy Z series accessories when bundled.
Verizon also introduced a loyalty program via the My Verizon app, offering monthly cash back in Verizon Dollars, daily surprises, and elimination of upgrade and activation fees. The Verizon Shine program provides weekly chances to win experiences, tickets, merchandise, and gift cards.
For a limited time, purchasers of a qualifying Galaxy Z Fold8 or Z Fold8 Ultra can get the Disney+, Hulu, & ESPN+ (With Ads) Perk for six months on us, then $10 per month, with the Simplicity Plan or myPlan.
Business customers can receive up to $900 off the Galaxy Z8 series with a qualifying trade-in on the My Biz Plan with $15+ monthly add-on spending, with credits applied over 36 months.
These offers reflect Verizon's effort to reduce carrier friction and provide value, leveraging Samsung's latest technology to attract both new and existing customers.
