Wacker Neuson SE announced a change in its Executive Board, with Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Christoph Burkhard stepping down by mutual agreement effective August 31, 2026, after more than five years of service. The company confirmed the leadership transition on July 20, 2026.
Hans Neunteufel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Wacker Neuson SE, expressed gratitude for Burkhard's contributions, stating: "We would like to thank Mr. Burkhard for the excellent cooperation and for his valuable contributions to the sustainable development of the Company's structures and organization. We wish Mr. Burkhard all the best and continued success in his future professional and personal endeavors."
Reinhard Frisch, currently Commercial Managing Director of Wacker Neuson Produktion GmbH & Co. KG in Reichertshofen, will assume the role of CFO effective September 1, 2026. Frisch has been with the Wacker Neuson Group since 2004 and has held various leadership positions in Germany and abroad, including serving as CFO of Wacker Neuson North America. His extensive international experience within the organization positions him well for the role.
Hans Neunteufel commented on the appointment: "We are pleased that, with Mr. Frisch, we have been able to appoint an executive with extensive international experience from within our own organization to this important position."
The leadership change comes at a time when Wacker Neuson Group, a leading manufacturer of light and compact equipment, continues to navigate global markets. The Group employs around 5,800 people worldwide and reported revenue of approximately EUR 2.2 billion in fiscal year 2025. Its portfolio includes products for construction, gardening, landscaping, agriculture, municipal bodies, and industries such as recycling and rail transport, under brands including Wacker Neuson, Kramer, Weidemann, and Enar.
Burkhard's departure and Frisch's succession are expected to ensure continuity in financial leadership. Frisch's familiarity with the company's operations and his experience in North America may prove valuable as Wacker Neuson addresses global challenges and opportunities. The transition reflects the company's strategy of promoting from within to maintain stability.
