Western Star Resources Inc. has released certified assay results from its inaugural exploration programs at the Rowland Tungsten Property and adjoining White Star Tungsten Project in Elko County, Nevada, reporting rock-chip grades as high as 4.02% tungsten trioxide (WO₃). The results, which exceed twice the reported historical grades, mark a significant step in advancing the company’s efforts to revitalize North America’s tungsten supply.

The highlight of the program was a peak rock-chip assay of 4.02% WO₃ from the Rowland Main workings (sample RO-16-01), with additional standout results including 3.00% WO₃ from the White Star Batholith Mine (WS-16-02) and three further samples above 2% WO₃ from Rowland Main Zone. Outcrop, float and channel sampling at Rowland confirmed high-grade tungsten mineralization across all three historically worked zones: Northern Zone A, Northern Zone B, and Rowland Main.

At Rowland Main, 18 samples returned grades including 4.02%, 2.69%, 2.56%, 2.11% and 1.25% WO₃, with elevated molybdenum (up to 110.5 ppm Mo), silver (6.82 g/t Ag), copper (0.4% Cu), and manganese (2.57% Mn). Northern Zone A returned one sample with 0.23% WO₃, 3.06 g/t Ag and 41.1 ppm Mo. Northern Zone B yielded three samples ranging from 0.35% to 1.22% WO₃, with coincident silver up to 10.85 g/t Ag and copper up to 0.8% Cu, and molybdenum up to 119.5 ppm Mo.

At the White Star Tungsten Project, initial rock-chip sampling returned two samples: one grading 3.00% WO₃ (WS-16-02) with 711 ppm Mo, and another at 0.13% WO₃. The high-grade sample came from an area not previously known to be mineralized, consistent with historical production grades from the Batholith/Mission Cross Mine.

These results will be integrated with the completed UAV magnetic geophysical survey and pending soil geochemistry to support drill target generation. The company is building a comprehensive dataset to move confidently into drilling. Further soil sampling is ongoing, and updates will be provided as additional results are received.

The scientific and technical information has been reviewed and approved by Jasper Mowatt, a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The company maintains rigorous QA/QC protocols, with samples analyzed by ALS Global in Reno, Nevada.
