Technology company VueReal has appointed Robert Selley as its new Chief Commercial Officer, marking a significant strategic move to accelerate global commercial growth. Selley brings over 25 years of semiconductor industry experience, having previously held executive leadership roles at prominent companies including Nova Semiconductor and FormFactor.
In his newly created role, Selley will oversee global sales and business development activities, focusing on key industry sectors such as lighting, consumer electronics, automotive, augmented/virtual reality, and healthcare. His appointment follows VueReal's recent USD $40.5 million Series C funding round and aligns with the company's expansion strategy.
VueReal CEO Reza Chaji highlighted Selley's alignment with the company's mission, emphasizing his proven track record of building high-performing teams and driving customer satisfaction. Selley's expertise is expected to be crucial in scaling VueReal's MicroSolid Printing platform and expanding its global market presence.
With a background in international business and an MBA, Selley brings strategic vision and a customer-first approach to the role. His addition to the leadership team represents a significant step in VueReal's efforts to transform microLED and micro semiconductor markets, with industry projections suggesting a potential $30 billion market value by 2029.
