Miracles for Mya, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children fighting cancer, will host its Second Annual Gala on March 8, 2025, at Tuscany Falls Banquets in Mokena, Illinois. The event represents a significant opportunity to advance the organization's mission of providing hope and support to pediatric cancer patients and their families.
Since its founding in 2018, the organization has made substantial contributions to children's healthcare, donating over 9,000 toys to local area hospitals in Northeastern Illinois. In the 2024 holiday season alone, Miracles for Mya provided over $56,000 in gifts to children battling cancer, bringing their total distribution of toys and financial aid to more than $160,000 over seven years.
The upcoming gala, priced at $85 per person, offers attendees an evening of entertainment, including music by Chicago DJ Eddie V, dinner, dancing, and an open bar. Guests will also have the chance to participate in raffles featuring prizes such as a $1,000 Southwest Airlines Gift Card, a PlayStation 5, and a Go Kart.
Founded after the courageous battle of Mya Tinajero, who fought stage IV Neuroblastoma, the organization embodies the spirit of resilience and compassion.
