GOSKATE is set to commemorate Go Skate Day 2025 with free skateboarding master classes in three major North American cities and a significant expansion of its global skatepark directory. The organization will host expert-led events in Seattle, Toronto, and St. Petersburg, Florida, offering free lessons to skaters of all skill levels on June 21st.
The free master classes will feature experienced instructors leading community sessions. In Seattle, Gabriel Maloy, with 18 years of teaching experience, will conduct a class at Lake City Skatepark. Mohammad Fazli will welcome riders in the Greater Toronto Area at Markham Centennial Skatepark, while Benjamin Pedigo will lead a lesson in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Simultaneously, GOSKATE has added 7,000 new skateparks to its Worldwide Skatepark Directory, significantly enhancing resources for skaters seeking locations to practice and explore. This expansion reflects the organization's mission to make skateboarding more accessible globally.
Robert Guirola, GOSKATE's Director of Excellence, emphasized the broader impact of skateboarding, stating that it builds resilience, confidence, and community. CEO Rob Dunfey highlighted the directory's role in connecting skaters worldwide, enabling them to discover new skateboarding locations.
These initiatives demonstrate GOSKATE's ongoing commitment to supporting and growing skateboarding culture, providing educational opportunities, and fostering community connections across different skill levels and geographical regions.
