The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund will host its 14th Annual Mike Ditka's Gridiron Greats Hall of Fame Gala on May 30th, honoring six distinguished NFL and CFL veterans for their remarkable on-field achievements and off-field contributions.
This year's Hall of Fame Inductees include Olin Kreutz, Mark Collins, Vernon Davis, Leonard Marshall, Chris Draft, and Garney Henley. Each honoree represents diverse positions and teams, showcasing the breadth of talent within professional football.
A significant highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Sylvia Mackey Award to Angela Biletnikoff, CEO of the Biletnikoff Foundation, which addresses critical social issues including substance abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking among young people.
Marv Levy, NFL and CFL Hall of Fame coach, will present Chris Draft with the Marv Levy Impact Award, recognizing his exceptional leadership and dedication to supporting the military community.
The event's proceeds will directly benefit the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization providing critical medical and financial support to NFL players experiencing dire circumstances. By celebrating these athletes' legacies, the gala not only honors their professional achievements but also generates crucial resources for retired players in need.
