Branchspace and 2e Systems have launched a commercial alliance called branchspace × 2e, combining their airline technology modules and integrations into a single proposition for airlines. The partnership brings together two specialists with 13 and 27 years of experience in airline technology, respectively, to offer airlines one partner for e-commerce and retailing across the customer journey, passenger and crew communication for disruption management, and seamless systems integration. The alliance was presented at the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon, stand 1-102B.
The alliance aims to address a key industry challenge: airlines want to innovate but often hesitate to adopt specialist solutions due to concerns about scalability. By joining forces, Branchspace and 2e Systems offer combined offerings, deeper global coverage, more research and development, and more integrations across key airline systems, while maintaining the speed and flexibility of specialists. Airlines can pick best-of-breed modules that work with existing Offer & Order and PSS systems, avoiding vendor lock-in and enabling gradual modernization.
For airlines, this means more choice and less lock-in. They can implement true retailing starting today, with personalized shopping, ancillaries at every touchpoint, and seamless self-service. Check-in becomes an opportunity for travelers to tailor their trip and for airlines to sell more. The platforms are system-agnostic, so today's investments transition seamlessly to Offer & Order. Disruption management is also improved, with real-time communication keeping passengers, crew, and staff informed and delivering targeted offers when plans change.
The alliance has a proven track record. Branchspace's retailing platform helped Oman Air increase direct booking share from around 20% to up to 70%. 2e Systems' platforms send more than 1.6 billion passenger, ground staff, and flight crew notifications annually. Together, their technology serves carriers including Aeromexico, airBaltic, jetBlue, Kenya Airways, KM Malta Airlines, Lufthansa Group, Oman Air, and WestJet.
Branchspace will continue its independent consulting practice under the brand Branchspace Consulting, supporting airlines from strategy to implementation for Offer, Order, and digital transformation. For more information, visit www.branchspace.com and www.2e-systems.com.
This alliance matters because it offers airlines a practical path to modern retailing without the risk of a full system replacement. It enables step-by-step digital transformation, allowing airlines to experiment and learn what modern retailing means, focus on outcomes, and break down silos. As the industry moves toward Offer & Order, this partnership provides a bridge that protects current investments and accelerates innovation.
