CI Web Group Launches Hydra Agents in Slack, Limits HydraOS Access to Two Agencies

CI Web Group has announced the launch of Hydra Agents in Slack, bringing its HydraOS AI-first marketing operating system directly into the communication environment where teams already coordinate, prioritize, and act. The launch is designed to eliminate fragmented handoffs by creating a direct path from request to execution. However, access to HydraOS is currently limited to only two marketing agencies: CI Web Group and Real Time Marketing.

Hydra Agents connect Slack conversations to specialized digital marketing capabilities spanning websites, content, development, reporting, and performance. Teams can call an agent into a channel for a specific task, or configure an agent to monitor activity and act within pre-approved parameters. The outcome is a more responsive operating model that reduces time spent moving work between dashboards, tickets, and inboxes, and increases time spent improving the customer experience.

"The next era of marketing isn't another dashboard. It's a team of agents that can be called in on demand and trusted to keep working autonomously," said Jennifer Bagley, CEO of CI Web Group and creator of HydraOS.

The launch introduces two distinct operating modes: human-initiated and trigger-initiated. Human-initiated agents are called on demand by a team member in Slack to complete a specific task, such as creating a new landing page or pulling a performance report. Trigger-initiated agents follow a standing goal, event, schedule, or threshold, monitoring assigned work, taking allowed actions, escalating exceptions, and reporting changes. This allows organizations to match the agent to the task rather than forcing every workflow into a single pattern.

Slack becomes the command layer for digital marketing. A request begins in Slack, HydraOS routes it to the appropriate specialist, and the result returns to where the decision was made. The process follows four steps: ask, route, act, and report. Specialized agents include the Hydra Change Agent for advanced website tasks, the Hydra Design Agent for redesigning components, the Hydra Development Agent for building custom components, and the Hydra Reporting and Performance Agent, which pulls and interprets data from WhatConverts, Google Analytics, Search Console, and Google Reviews, then recommends next actions.

This development matters because it signals a shift in how digital marketing teams operate, moving from manual coordination to AI-driven execution. By integrating directly into Slack, HydraOS reduces the friction between strategy and implementation. However, the limited availability of HydraOS through only two agencies means that most businesses cannot yet access this technology directly. For the home services, trades, and professional service businesses that HydraOS targets, this exclusivity could create a competitive advantage for those working with CI Web Group or Real Time Marketing.

Autonomous does not mean unsupervised. Organizations define each agent's scope, triggers, permissions, action boundaries, and escalation path. Some work can run continuously, while higher-impact decisions can return to a person for approval. This balance allows teams to increase speed without surrendering accountability. Hydra Agents in Slack are launching for HydraOS clients. At this point, HydraOS is available through only two marketing agencies: CI Web Group and Real Time Marketing.
