Storagely Unveils 3.0.1: A Full Platform Rebuild for Self-Storage Operators

Storagely, the website platform built for self-storage operators, has announced Storagely 3.0.1, a complete rebuild of its platform and the largest release in the company's history. The new version will make its public debut at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show from September 8th to 11th at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, at Booth #1233. This release represents a significant shift in how the company approaches the needs of self-storage operators, moving beyond incremental features to a ground-up reconstruction.

The self-storage industry has evolved, and operators are facing new challenges and constraints. Rather than adding another round of features, Storagely decided to rebuild its architecture exclusively around how operators run their businesses. According to Austin Simmons, who was named Chief Executive Officer in April 2026, operators have consistently expressed three key desires: to be more hands-on without being stuck behind support tickets, to launch new locations in days rather than weeks, and to differentiate each facility in its market. "We stopped just adding features and decided it's time to rebuild around those pain points," Simmons said.

The rebuild introduces several major changes. FLEX, the platform's drag-and-drop editor, allows operators to edit any block, swap layouts, and publish new pages in minutes without needing a developer. ATLAS, the new Location Profile Manager, centralizes every location's details—such as address, hours, pricing, photos, unit types, and amenities—into one convenient place, replacing multiple spreadsheets. With the new ATLAS Google Profile sync, edits to a Google Business profile can automatically update location details on the website. Together, these tools provide a faster alternative to support tickets and enable customization that gives each facility its own identity.

Launch speed has also been dramatically improved. New sites can launch in weeks rather than months, and new locations can come online in days rather than weeks. This increased velocity allows operators to move at their own pace, stay agile, and make quick decisions. Performance has been enhanced as well, with a modern architecture built exclusively for self-storage, resulting in faster load times on mobile and desktop, better page speed scores, and infrastructure that scales from a single store to hundreds of locations. The platform also includes a newly imagined one-page checkout with upgrades like a merchandise shop and other upsell options.

Simmons, previously Chief Operating Officer, led the rebuild in close partnership with Founder and Executive Chairman Brian Leimone, whose technical vision continues to drive the platform. Simmons has worked with Storagely for nearly a decade across several iterations of the business, including the years before it entered self-storage. "For years I've watched Austin grow from someone I believed in, into the leader Storagely needs today," Leimone said. "3.0.1 begins a new era for the company, and he's the right person to lead it."

Storagely will demo 3.0.1 at Booth #1233 during the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show. Meetings can be booked in advance at storagely.io/schedule-a-demo. For more information, visit storagely.io.

This announcement matters because it signals a new era for self-storage website management, offering operators greater control, faster launches, and better performance. By addressing longstanding pain points, Storagely aims to empower operators to compete more effectively in their local markets, potentially raising the standard for the entire industry. The rebuild could also pressure competitors to innovate, ultimately benefiting operators through improved tools and services.
