FORTEC Group Appoints New Managing Directors Across International Subsidiaries

FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft, a leading provider of display technology and power supply solutions, has announced a series of management appointments across its international subsidiaries as part of its ongoing reorganization. The new appointments are designed to strengthen the second tier of management, broaden the overall management team, and devolve greater responsibility and decision-making authority to regional divisions.

In the Czech Republic, Martin Novak assumed the position of Managing Director of FORTEC CZ on 1 June 2026. Novak brings over 20 years of international management experience in logistics, production, automotive, and operational management. He will oversee the existing production facility in Dysina and manage the planned move to a new production site and expansion. FORTEC CZ manufactures electronic assemblies and DC/DC converters and assembles displays with touchscreens. His expertise includes production and logistics management, process optimization, change management, and organizational development.

At FORTEC US, Paul Hooper took on the role of Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) on 1 July 2026. Hooper previously served as Managing Director of Sales at FORTEC UK, where he reorganized and developed the business. He is expected to replicate that success in the U.S. market, focusing on organic growth and sustainable market expansion. Together with co-Managing Director Scott Makboulian, he will broaden the company's presence in North America. Hooper has over 30 years of experience in the international electronics industry, with expertise in market analysis, leadership, and sales.

Rhett Evans will succeed Paul Hooper at FORTEC UK effective 8 September 2026. With more than 25 years in the electronics industry, Evans brings extensive expertise in embedded computing, display technologies, and customized system solutions. His background includes electronic engineering and years of sales and management experience.

Patrick von Unold will become Managing Director of FORTEC Integrated on 1 October 2026. FORTEC Integrated is an internationally active provider of display technology and embedded computing and plays a key role in research and development within the FORTEC Group. Von Unold has international management experience in the electronics industry and deep expertise in embedded electronics, display and touch technologies, and human-machine interfaces. His experience spans medical technology, automation, and transport, combining technical knowledge with product strategy and sustainable solutions.

Michael Spatny, COO of FORTEC, commented on the appointments: "With the personnel decisions we have taken, we are implementing a key part of the FORTEC Group’s new growth strategy. We are strengthening the regional divisions and giving them greater scope to respond to the specific characteristics of their respective markets, whilst at the same time benefiting from the strength of an internationally active group. I look forward to working together with this dedicated team on FORTEC’s future success."

These appointments reflect FORTEC's commitment to decentralizing management and enhancing regional agility. By empowering local leaders, the company aims to better address market-specific demands and drive growth. The strengthening of the second tier is a strategic move to ensure sustained development and competitiveness in the global electronics industry.

FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft, founded in 1984, operates as a holding company managing its affiliated companies, with sites in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, the Czech Republic, and Egypt. The group focuses on power supplies, embedded systems, displays, and custom developments.
