Powermax Minerals Completes 2026 Field Program at Cameron REE Project, Advancing Rare Earth Exploration in British Columbia

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has announced the completion of its 2026 field exploration program at the Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) Project near Revelstoke, British Columbia. The program, conducted in July and August, aimed to expand geological and geochemical coverage in areas identified through previous sampling, mapped pegmatites, geological contacts, and drainage catchments.

During the field campaign, Powermax collected a total of 250 samples, including 50 rock-chip, 50 soil, and 150 stream-sediment samples. These samples have been submitted to AGAT Laboratories in Calgary for comprehensive analysis. The field activities incorporated geological mapping, prospecting, rock-chip sampling, soil sampling, stream-sediment sampling, and handheld radiometric screening across priority target areas.

Upon receipt of laboratory results and completion of its quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) review, Powermax intends to integrate the analytical data with geological and radiometric field information. This integration will help refine and rank targets for potential additional surface work, trenching, or future drill evaluation. The announcement underscores the company's systematic approach to advancing its rare earth projects, which are critical for various modern technologies, including renewable energy systems, electronics, and defense applications.

The Cameron REE Property comprises three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares in British Columbia. Powermax holds an option to acquire this property. In addition, the company has optioned the Atikokan REE Property in NW Ontario (455 unpatented mining claims) and the 5,178-hectare Pinard REE property in Northern Ontario. Powermax also owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Crook County, Wyoming.

This development is significant given the growing global demand for rare earth elements, which are essential for the transition to green energy and advanced technologies. The successful completion of the field program positions Powermax to potentially identify drill-ready targets, which could lead to resource delineation and eventually contribute to a more diversified and secure supply chain for critical minerals in North America.
