Darren and Mike Launch Mentorship Initiative to Support New Business Owners

VANCOUVER, BC – Darren Ewert and Mike Dreher, co-founders of The Dream Team, have unveiled a new mentorship initiative aimed at providing aspiring business owners with more structured support during the critical early stages of building an online business. The program expands on the existing mentorship model by adding more touchpoints for new members, particularly in the first few months when many entrepreneurs struggle to maintain momentum.

"The first few months are where most people either build momentum or lose it," said Mike Dreher, co-founder of The Dream Team. "This initiative is about making sure nobody gets stuck in that stretch without someone to turn to. We've seen how much of a difference it makes when someone has a specific person to ask, instead of trying to sort through generic advice on their own."

The initiative was developed in response to feedback from the community, according to Darren Ewert, who co-founded The Dream Team alongside Dreher. "Our members have told us, over and over, that the mentorship relationship is what makes the difference for them, more than any tool or resource we've built. So we asked what more we could do specifically on that front, and this initiative is the answer to that question."

The Dream Team has long emphasized mentorship over content, operating on the belief that aspiring entrepreneurs benefit more from structured guidance and a supportive community than from piecing together a path from scattered, often contradictory information. This new initiative is designed to reinforce that mission as the community continues to grow, ensuring that the mentorship experience scales alongside the expansion.

The rollout includes expanded access to mentors for new members in their first several months, additional structured check-ins during onboarding, and more opportunities for peer-to-peer connection within the broader community. The goal, according to the founders, is to prevent the mentorship experience from becoming diluted as more people join.

The initiative comes at a time when the online business education industry is crowded with courses and training modules, but The Dream Team is choosing to invest in human connection instead. By increasing access to real guidance, the program aims to address a common challenge for new entrepreneurs: knowing who to ask when they encounter obstacles.

Darren and Mike have indicated that they plan to continue expanding mentorship resources in the coming months, with additional community investments expected as the initiative rolls out further.
