FG Brands, a self-care and wellness platform, has announced the launch of the franchise industry's first dual-concept beauty studio, featuring two of its skincare brands under one roof. This innovative co-location model combines Bare&Sol™ (formerly LA Bikini) and Facial Collective® in a single location, allowing franchise owners to offer a comprehensive range of whole-body skincare treatments. The design keeps both brands independent yet complementary, creating operational and labor cost synergies and cross-selling opportunities.
The first dual-concept studio is set to open in Birmingham, Alabama, on Friday, Aug. 21, with more than 1,000 members already enrolled. This initial location is projected to generate over $1.25 million in revenue in its first year. The 1,950-square-foot studio features 10 treatment rooms and demonstrates the potential of a dual-brand business model that relies on recurring monthly membership revenue.
Jan Zalud, CEO of FG Brands, highlighted the strategic advantage of the dual-concept approach. "As a leader in the beauty brand franchising space, we continue to explore dynamic and exciting ways to showcase the professional skincare offerings that give our franchisee partners an edge over the competition," Zalud said. "Combining face care through Facial Collective® and hair removal and airbrush tanning through Bare&Sol™ into one convenient location is designed to offer our clients the ultimate in value and convenience - an all-inclusive experience where every customer is made to feel welcome. And for our franchise partners, it delivers the best possible opportunity to drive exceptional revenue per square foot."
The dual-concept studio offers two distinct experiences. Bare&Sol™ specializes in all-natural, less-painful sugaring hair removal and UV-free airbrush spray tanning, while Facial Collective® provides high-performance, curated facial treatments, targeted add-on services, a full line of skincare products, and minimally invasive injectable treatments. Both brands operate on membership-based business models, ensuring recurring monthly revenue and strong unit-level economics.
The studios feature a modern, elevated interior design with clean lines, soft textures, and a calming environment, moving away from the cold, clinical feel of traditional spas. Memberships start as low as $49 per month, making routine self-care accessible to cost-conscious consumers. The concept is described as "boutique fitness for the skin," catering to today's discerning beauty consumers.
This launch is significant for the franchise industry as it introduces a unique co-location model that could reshape how beauty services are delivered. By offering two complementary brands in one location, FG Brands aims to maximize revenue per square foot and provide a one-stop destination for clients' skincare needs. For franchisees, this model presents an opportunity to diversify revenue streams and enhance customer loyalty through cross-selling.
